WHY BUY A PLANCHA?

From seafood, fish and meat to fruits and vegetables, all kinds of food can be cooked on a plancha without added grease and without the risk of burning the meal.

The grease from cooking runs off into a recipient, allowing the food to continue cooking in its juices.

The high temperature of the plancha, between 110°C and 330°C, preserves the juices and flavor of the food.

This cooking method keeps animal fat from falling into the flames, thus preventing the production of toxic berzoprene, as can happen with open-flame barbecues.

Of course, we are talking about two completely different cooking methods : one cooks your food through to the middle and the other one grills it.

Below, we have compared 6 techincal and practical aspects of cooking with both devices.
